Stephen Lloyd has lead Enbridge’s Emergency Management Team for over 10 years and has over 20 years’ experience within the Emergency Response Industry. His team is responsible for the Development, Planning and Execution of all Enbridge  Liquid Pipelines, ER programs and Management System across the US and Canada. He has chaired the API’s Emergency Response Work Group and the development of API’s Recommended Practice 1174, for Onshore Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Emergency Preparedness and Response.

Stephen has also served, in the past, as WCSS Board Member and also a member of CEPA’s Emergency Management Work Group. His varied background covers Paramedicine, Emergency Response within Refineries and Upgraders to International Disaster Response and relief overseas.

Kelly Malinoski is the Director, Emergency Management with Trans Mountain Corporation. As Director, Emergency Management she is responsible for the Emergency Management program for all Trans Mountain’s operations and the Trans Mountain Expansion Project including Fire Protection at all facilities.

Kelly has worked in the oil and gas industry in Canada for the past 20 + years. During this time, she has held a variety of Emergency Management, GIS and Safety positions in upstream and midstream oil and gas companies, as well as in Forestry.

Nolan Steinwand is a Professional Agrologist who has spent the last 23 years working within the upstream oil and gas industry in North East British Columbia and Alberta.  His entire career has been dedicated to Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Management, with 5 years in the service sector and 18 years working for producers.

Early in his career, Nolan was involved in environmental sampling and reclamation, which migrated over to remediation and spill response, then on to more corporate-focused Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Management roles.  In 2002, Nolan joined the Area C Steering Committee and shortly thereafter attended his first ice exercise on the Peace River located in Taylor, BC.  His curiosity and drive to improve upon the status quo and do things differently motivated him to be more involved within WCSS.  Since that first exercise and in the 18 years since, Nolan has held a variety of positions with WCSS, including Areas C & E Chairman and Alternate Chairman roles. He continues to be involved on the Executive Sub-Committee and has recently taken on the role of Provincial Chairman.

Nikole Andres is an Environmental, Regulatory, and Emergency Preparedness & Response Supervisor with Imperial Oil Resources Limited (Imperial). Nikole currently works at the Cold Lake Operation and oversees a team responsible for the operations Environmental Management and Emergency Response programs

Since joining Imperial in 2009, Nikole has worked and lived in the Northwest Territories, Newfoundland, Alaska, and Alberta.  Over her time with the company, she has provided various operations and project support specifically in the areas of emergency preparedness and response, and environmental and regulatory management.  Specifically, Nikole brings hands on spills expertise including but not limited to the Incident Command System; various real life emergency response events and regulatory required exercises; team and contractor management; regulator interfaces; and socioeconomic consultation with all stakeholders.  Lastly, Nikole is also on the ExxonMobil Americas Regional Response Team and helps provide support to internal spill response training programs.

Nikole holds at a Master of Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

Anna Charbonneau graduated from Queen’s University in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Hydrogeology). She has over 20 years of progressive environmental experience. Her early career focused on applied research and environmental consulting. Her work has spanned several industries including waste management, rail, military, potash, and oil and gas, in a variety of provincial/territorial regulatory environments.

For the past six years Anna has represented an oil and gas company, providing internal environmental support. Anna continues to be employed with Whitecap Resources Inc. as Team Lead, Environment.
